History has been made! For the first time ever, an Olympic gold medal has been won by a Canada on Canadian soil! Freestyle skier Alex Bilodeau of Rosemere, Que gave us the place in history today.
I knew we could do it. That is was possible. To hell with the idiotic rioters and losers that are protesting because the money spent on the Olympics should have gone elsewhere - this what it is all about. If everyone of those people who are against the Olympics do not feel at least a little pride in this day then there is really something wrong with them.
But enough negativity. This is a great accomplishment. May there be much more gold coming our way!
